The Washtenaw County Commission will be holding 2 public hearings shortly for the purpose of gathering public input on whether the Commission should take over control of the County Road Commission. The law allowing this is scheduled to sunset on Dec. 31st, so the Commission is forced to decide if they will take over the Road Commission, leave the Road Commission as is, change to an elected Road Commission, or change the number of Commissioners.
