1. Tomorrow is a special election in Ypsilanti Township and three ballot proposals, one each in Ann Arbor, Sharon Township and Ypsilanti Township. I have no opinion on the Ypsilanti Township proposal but would recommend a NO vote on the measures in Ann Arbor and Sharon Township. 2. Tomorrow at 4PM is the deadline for being on the ballot for precinct delegate. The Washtenaw County Clerk has a list of candidates for precinct delegate at: https://www.washtenaw.org/DocumentCenter/View/846/August-7-2018-Precinct-Delegate-Candidates---Republican-Unofficial-PDF
Those who do not have correctly filled affidavits in at the Clerk's office at 4PM will have to run as write-in candidates.
Please make sure to get out and vote. We get the governments we deserve. If we fail to take the time to chose that government it will be chosen for us, most likely to our detriment.
